These are a few of my favorite things.

More fall hiking because I just can't get enough.  Raja and I were so happy to spend the day hiking with Carolyn. She's pretty great.                  I have to take a moment to express my excitement for Andy. We had a great weekend celebrating him and this new journey (see The Journey  ).  {He has been officially white coated} We are so thankful for this opportunity. And for our great family.   Lastly, the ponies are so thankful the weather is cooling a bit.  Catherine and I with our boys.  Loui is making 16 look good.  Hope you are enjoying a few of your favorite things, as well! Thanks for reading.

October is my favorite!

HAPPY FALL.  I love fall so, so much. It is my favorite time of the year (with Christmas finishing close behind). The leaves, the crisp air, the sudden appearance of everything pumpkin flavor, the smell of hunting clothes being unpacked (that one's kind of weird), and the "Crisp Fall Leaves" scented candles- yes, all yes.   Fall in Arizona is a bit different- the weather is nice and I'm still finding all my pumpkin necessities,  but where are the leaves? We haven't been able to walk out the door - go for a walk down the street and see the beautiful changing leaves like we always loved to do in Alabama. So we decided to take a quick (very quick) trip to Flagstaff this past week.  Once Andy finished up his test and I got off work on Tuesday we journeyed north a bit to find some cooler mountain air. It was so refreshing to get out of the desert for a bit and get our dose of fall...  and it made me happy.    Raj
