Fun Is An Attitude

Andy and I have had an exciting insane  few weeks since we returned from Alabama. First of all the drive back to Arizona was not easy. We were pulling the horse trailer with a few things we wanted to bring back, including: A dirt bike, twin size bed, lots of baby things (huge thank you to the friends and family who were so generous to baby buck), a western saddle- just to name a few. I tried my best to enjoy the road trip but I was so uncomfortable and my sweet baby continually stuck his feet in my ribs throughout the drive taking my breath away ... Nonetheless, we made it. We finally got home to find our guest bathroom toilet had been leaking for who knows how long while we had been gone. We had a large mattress in the hallway (we were in the process of moving) and thought, "wow that was lucky- it caught all the water".  Ha. Little did we know the water had gone under the floor into the living room, master bed room, and master closet... and ruined all the floors. I

Weddings Bring Us Together

Basically I have another sibling that I haven't mentioned. Her name is Anna and my family decided we would claim her as our own about six-ish years ago. Another fact you may not know is that she is getting married in September. We are all pretty excited about this because we all actually like Parker (fiancĂ©). With help from our friend Whitney we had a small, fun shower for Anna and Parker.  Before getting cleaned up. They're cute.  As always with anything the Calhouns' are  involved in, we needed some entertainment. I'll let you guess who sent dad's truck into the woods 20 minutes before the shower started...  When these guys are involved, usually so is shooting.  Skeet shooting to wish the happy couple the best? It was fun either way.  And that concludes the pictures. I can't wait to stand by this girl in a few

Arizona Baby Shower, Easter and Family

Hello everyone! I hope y'all had a wonderful Easter weekend. Our Easter was pretty busy but it was so special in so many ways. First of all my sweet Arizona mother, Catherine (who has taken me in as her own), hosted a baby shower for Baby Buck. He was shown great love from friends we've made out here in the desert. I cannot wait for him to meet all the loving people awaiting his arrival (only 15 more weeks to wait, by the way!). On that note he has some pretty amazing family that are anxiously awaiting to meet him, as well- my mother, Andy's mother, my grandparents (Mammy and Grandaddy) and my cousin all made the long journey out for the shower and for Easter. We are so thankful they were able to come!  We all had so much fun at the shower!  The nursery theme is woodland creatures.  Catherine and Gary We played some pretty entertaining games, which I will spare you the pictures from. Also, we all
